چکیده
Helicobacter pylori (HP) infection is one of the most frequent bacterial infections in humans and associated with pathogenesis gastric motility disorders such as delayed emptying (DGE). Although HP considered to delay emptying, there has been little research on underlying mechanism. Gastric involves interactions among gastrointestinal hormones, smooth muscle, enteric extrinsic autonomic nerves interstitial cells Cajal (ICCs), ICCs play an important role motility. Mutation or loss stem cell factor (SCF) expression known reduce number alter integrity ICC network, contributing dysmotility. The aim present study was investigate whether a reduction contributes DGE caused by HP. A mouse model established compared between HP?infected uninfected mice using bead method. In addition, counts SCF levels tissue were evaluated immunohistochemistry western blotting, respectively. results revealed that significantly slower, reduced protein level decreased mice. Therefore, it may be concluded decreasing tissue, thereby causing DGE.

Interleukin 10 Restores Gastric Emptying, Electrical Activity, and Interstitial Cells of Cajal Networks in Diabetic Mice
BACKGROUND & AIMS Gastroparesis is a complication of diabetes characterized by delayed emptying of stomach contents and accompanied by early satiety, nausea, vomiting, and pain. No safe and reliable treatments are available. Interleukin 10 (IL10) activates the M2 cytoprotective phenotype of macrophages and induces expression of heme oxygenase 1 (HO1) protein. We investigated whether IL10 admini...
متن کاملDelayed maturation of interstitial cells of Cajal in meconium obstruction.
BACKGROUND/PURPOSE The etiology of meconium obstruction without cystic fibrosis is unclear. Interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) function as pacemakers in gut motility and may play a role in the pathophysiology of the disease. METHODS The ICC were examined by immunohistochemical staining with anti-c-kit antibody in the bowel walls of 6 neonates who had meconium obstruction without cystic fibrosi...
متن کاملElectroacupuncture at ST36 Ameliorates Gastric Emptying and Rescues Networks of Interstitial Cells of Cajal in the Stomach of Diabetic Rats
Depletion of interstitial cells of Cajal (ICC) is certified in the stomach of diabetic patients. Though electroacupuncture (EA) at ST36 is an effective therapy to regulate gastric motility, the mechanisms of EA at ST36 on gastric emptying and networks of ICC remain to be elucidated. The aims of this study were to investigate the effects of EA on gastric emptying and on the alterations of ICC ne...

متن کاملHelicobacter pylori infection prevents erosive reflux oesophagitis by decreasing gastric acid secretion.
BACKGROUND Helicobacter pylori infection is less prevalent and atrophic gastritis is less extensive in patients with reflux oesophagitis than those without it, but few studies have examined this relationship directly. AIMS We investigated the relationship between H pylori infection, acid secretion, and reflux oesophagitis in Japanese subjects. SUBJECTS A total of 105 patients with erosive r...
